High Pivot

High Pivot is a bar whose high dominates its left neighborhood and is at least as high as its right neighborhood.

The detector compares the candidate high with both sides of its window.

Technical

H_i > max(left highs) and H_i >= max(right highs), then the separation floor must pass.

Scope

A high pivot uses intrabar high, not necessarily the highest close.
