Negative money flow is raw money flow classified to bars whose typical price fell.

In plain terms

Only a lower typical price sends that bar's raw flow to the negative sum.

Technical

If TP_t < TP_(t-1), NMF receives RawFlow_t; equal and higher typical prices do not.

Scope

The negative sum is stored as a nonnegative magnitude in this contract.
