FTB-C000707 / Implementation concept

Event sourcing

Event sourcing reconstructs application state from an ordered history of recorded domain events.

Definitions

In plain terms

The system retains what happened, then folds the history to calculate a current or historical view.

Technical

A D30 balance projection accepts the declared sequence and folds committed postings; corrections add new history rather than editing the past.

Scope

Reconstruction depends on complete eligible history and stable semantics; it is not automatically a database durability guarantee.

Examples

  • Replaying a synthetic deposit and later fee rebuilds the same selected posted balance.

Common misconceptions

  • An arbitrary list of logs is not necessarily an authoritative event store.

    Supports: technical definition

Limits: No independent regulatory mandate, real-bank dataset, service execution, external witness or production assurance is claimed.
