Pivot Event Time

Pivot Event Time is the bar index where the detected high or low actually occurred.

Definitions

In plain terms

Event time places the extremum on the historical bar that supplied its price.

Technical

event_index identifies the candidate bar; it is distinct from confirmation_index and knowledge cutoff.

Scope

Drawing an event marker on its bar must not imply it was known on that bar.
