High-Low Ratio

High-Low Ratio compares the number of new highs with the number of new lows by division.

Definitions

In plain terms

A value above one means the new-high count exceeds the new-low count, when the denominator is positive.

Technical

The implementation must declare the denominator-zero policy and keep this NH/NL variant distinct from NH/(NH+NL).

Scope

It is not the percentage-style High-Low Index.
