Factor-score weighting converts eligible factor scores into constituent weights under a declared transformation and constraint set.

In plain terms

Higher scores may receive larger weights, but negative values, normalization, caps, and sector controls must be handled explicitly.

The algorithm specifies score vintage, eligible universe, transform, sign policy, denominator, bounds, group constraints, tie handling, turnover controls, and effective date.

Scope

A score ranking is not itself a portfolio weight and can require a separate mapping rule.
